nice little lathe on ebay ending soon

Saw this on ebay, would probably make a nice little lathe for somebody considering a small lathe. It has a bigger bed than the Chinese mini lathes.

Fix my neighbor ordered that same lathe. Suppose to get it middle of next month. He built a special room for the lathe and a future mill.

I have a 9" logan now but after I see his I will drag the plastic out I'm sure. It looks great for the money.

That's the Craftsman "AA" lathe, and it really is nowhere near as good as the Craftsman Atlas 6" lathes they used to sell.
The spindle on the AA is 1/2" diameter (although there were a few vairants with larger spindles). Some people like the AA, but most end up selling them on after a while. Better to look for the Atlas ones.

I agree with Carter . I have an  old Atlas 10" lathe that I do a lot of gun work on. One of the best buy's I ever made. I also have a 3.5 Emco Mailer Unimat with the mill head attachment and I do quite a bit of my small work with it. Just made a pump  cup/rod assembly for an old 1300 Medalist with it. That AA is not worth what they ask in my opinion.
