Benjamin HB22 and Air Venturi Intermount

Wondered if the Air Venturi Intermount intended for Benjamin Rifles would fit well over the receiver of an HB22 pistol? Theres some indication that the O.D.'s of Benjamin rifles and pistols are similar (B272's seem to fit on both). Would use a different Weaver rail to allow the intermounts to be spaced OK...
