Damage control patrol
« on: August 26, 2008, 05:17:19 AM »
Well after a morning of hunting out on my friend's wooded property and seeing one rabbit and one black squirrel, both were on the move and no shot presented itself I headed home without my hunt fix.:( Almost home and my friend buzzes my cell and say's "THEIR BACK"!,THE squirrel's are BACK! in my attic. I'll be right there hehehehehe. I had removed one from his attic awhile back but I gess that he didn't patch the hole which kinda made me happy lol. I Pulled up to his spread and Knew right where I had to setup for a clean shot so I loaded a Predator up in the B26 Sporter and ask my buddy to go up in the attic and flush him out. I settled in behind a fresh stack of firewood and waited for the suspect and just then out pop's a nutter who scamper's  across the roof and leap's for the nearest tree branch to hold up. Figuring that he was out of danger he start's to clean himself, perfect just what I wanted. A pinch over thirty yard's, crosshairs on spot and Predator away with the impact clearing him off his branch. He quivered only for a moment on the ground as I inspected the clean hole in the fusebox left by the Predator which entered right where I placed it and exited out the other side of his skull, "red" followed.:). Grabbed a pic for our GTA HUNTER'S and cleaned my harvest up for the icebox. I asked my buddy if he was gonna fix that hole, YES! he said........bummer hehehe. Ed

Thank's Jeff and Mike, I was going loopy cause it's been so slow around here. The weather is getting cooler at night's and I'm noticing leaves dropping pretty steady, varment's already know this and I think their getting in that mode. Ed

Beautiful picture Ed!!  You got flowers in there, berries, the works.  All that's missing is the onions and bacon and it would make a great presentation on a platter :-)

Good shooting as usual.
