Destroyers. THX....I hit him at 8-9yds (easy shot, but he didnt want to hold still, lol)
I didnt find an exit wound, i think since he was quartered towards me it ended up in his neck or shoulder.
The impact nailed him pretty hard though, like in the movies when a guy gets shot with a twelve gauge.

The pills don't make him sleepy.....it's how they are administered that does!!!! I've only got one tin of Destroyers....just use them to compare with other pellets.

His brother came by a little later to check on him, he was administered the same treatment but this time at 28yds, i didnt feel the cranial treatment would be as efficient this time. so i went with the upper torso procedure.

Nice. Two rodents in a few hours. Excellent shot at 28 yards. A few more and you'll have yourself a big meal. heh heh

These little guys seem to eat seeds from desert plants exclusively, but theres not much meat on them to begin with.  I may skin one and make a war banner for my backyard(which faces their desert dwellings bwahaha)   I froze this one so i could teach my dog how to fetch my kills.

Are ground squirrels, ground hogs, porcupines, etc, any good to eat?

All animals taken in the wild taste better than store bought meat. People just get sqeamish...that's all. You've got to try it to see if you like it....
