Hi Jeff,

Hang in there.  Glad to see your wife is so reasonable.  My S410 is on order and I can barely wait to get my hands on it.  Sure seems like there's more than 24 hours in a day when it comes to waiting, but we've all waited this long....

BTW, enjoy your hunting stories a bunch.

LongIslandHunter if I remember correctly....I think youfill up that Talon of yours with a scuba tank....if so, you're ahead of a few of us AA400/410 owners and/or potential owners. Very happy that you'll be retiring and planning on getting a AA 400 or 410....you'll really like it. Just think...retired....meaning you can shoot more EVERYDAY.

Beautiful piece, Dan. Steve does great stocks. My shooting buddy just got one done FT style for his TX-200. How quiet is it?

Hey Stanley,,,,

Yup, use the scuba tank, it's great, although I also use the pump to top off after a short hunting excursion.

As for retirement,,,,,,, been waitin for this for a long time,,, when it finally happens I plan on doing ALOT of shooting  !!!!!   :)

I think it's maple, didn't bother to ask Steve.  Same as the line at the grip cap and fore end cap.  I'm pretty happy with it, one of these afternoons I'll get a free 15 minutes to actually shoot it a little:)

Havent fired it yet? Darn man that would drive me crazy! You know there are all sorts of professionals that say you NEED to take a few minutes for yourself sometimes. After shooting these modern airguns for 10+ years we (both of us) got our first custom stocks just this year and there is no going back. I am currently trying to decided the next air rifle I "need" and "can I get a GOOD stock for it" is the deciding factor.
 Thanks for posting the pictures.

Get off work at 5p.m., but am a salary employee which means "go home when it's all done".  Once I get home I do my introductions with my family, help with dinner and look at kids schoolwork and such.  Sometimes I am able to squeeze in 20-30 shots with one of my guns, but that only happens 1-2 times a week and it's usually on the weekends.  I've shot the S400 quite a bit, just not with the new stock.  Actually think the last thing I shot was my R7 and that was over a week ago,......1 five shot group:)  Kids just went back to school last week and it has been crazy, "Meet the teacher night", "Go buy band supplies night", "Sell my soul for kids clothes night", the list goes on....oh yea, my two oldest boys have birthdays within a month of each other so we cram two parties in on one long weekend....any guess which weekend that was....yup, last weekend.  Kids are fun, but I am missing my trigger time.

I'll find time:)
