Pellet Trap scaled from Timmys design
« on: September 06, 2008, 05:35:01 AM »
I printed out a picture of Timmys pellet trap and gave it to a fellow known as a 'Jack of all trades' who works at the family sawmill.  I thouht he was going to use 2x4s or 2x6s, but he chose some one inch stock.  We''ll see how well they hold up.

The duct seal compound is amazing stuff.  Now all I hear is the report of the rifle and the tearing of paper....no more 'thwack' when the pellet strikes plywood.

The trap is mounted to a 1/2 inch stick of re-bar.

Here's the backstop.  If I miss this big 'ole thing it's time to give it up...or get some corrective lenses.

Thanks Timmy!  I hope you don't mind my using your design.  These are not for sale...personal use only.
