Benji Triggers!!
« on: December 12, 2008, 01:10:46 AM »

I would like to lessen the pull on my Benji pumpers, but would like to try to do it myself instead of sending it off to a tuner. Is there anything that the DIY'r can do to remedy this. I'm not looking for a match hair trigger by any means, but the GRT-III trigger has spoiled me, and I miss shooting my pumpers, butbecause I get PO'd with the harder trigger-pull on these guns, they end up being put back on the rack!!!! Any advice?!?!?!?!?! Threads with picture's, etc!?!?!?!? Thanks, tjk

Check this out....

http://www.airgunsmith.com/392/triggertune.htm

I did some of this (no bearings on my trigger!) and it helped a lot.
Polished the sear face and the hammer and applied some synthetic grease with moly.

Hey Dave, thanks for the web address, I checked it out and it looks pretty good too. Only have one question about the installation, but I'm sure I'll find out the solution. As soon as the Holidays are over and things get back to normal, I'll try one out! Thanks again, tjk
