.
A sordid story.
I should get the trigger unit back tomorrow or Saturday.
It's stock 18fpe, but I was told I could get the trigger unit electronically recalibrated up a bit.
I was hoping for 21-23fpe, but nobody was sure what could be done.
I sent it to AoA and they called Daystate and talked to them, particularly Tony Belas, the sales manager.
He told them not to do it, and if I had it done, my 3-year warranty was gone.
I thought thay would at least do 20fpe, to takeaway any handicap from not having the HFT limit available.
You'd think that a $2200.00 gun would be able to do 20fpe
I was later told that they did this at the factory, but whether they just dropped the fpe from the max or popped it up was unclear. I had NO IDEA that I could have at least asked to have something at the factory.
Daystate may make a great gun, but their pre-sale customer support is some of the worst I've seen. There's hardly any info that tells about the purchasing options, except for the AoA warning of 2 months between shipments.
If you can't tell from my prose, I'm really pi$$ed off.
AoA was pretty good about it.
