Thats along the lines of a Beeman P1 (5ftlb) or P3/P17 (2.6~2.9ftlb)pistol at 177 caliber. I have those pistols and have successfully shot sparrows, rats, mice, and gophers. I would shoot a Starling too. The problem with this low power is that you gots ta get pretty close...like within 20 yrds with the P1 and within 10~15 yrds with the P3/P17. I use domehead pellets and Predator pellets with great success. And lots of practice to make sure you can accuratly shoot your airgun. The P3/P17 is very easy to master, with the P1 a little more difficult.
