I don't consider All Caps to be shouting....but some readers do.  I just find them harder to read.  Actually when I happen on a post with all caps.....I usually just skip it.

I almost bought a genuine Elmer Fudd hunting cap at the old Warner Bros store which used to be in the mall.  Was going to make it my range hat.   Was a real nice black/red check with the bow on top and Elmer on the front, complete with shotgun.

Red,

There are tons of articles about this practice on the internet, but I'll list a couple of links below just to get you started.

In short, large blocks of text written in all capitals are more difficult to scan and comprehend because of the way that our brains recognize the patterns in the text that we are reading.  In addition, the folks who design the various fonts we use to display said text usually design them to be most legible when written in regularly capitalized form.  Now for the links.

:emoticon: Thanks, these are good stuff. I did know lawyers are guilty on proper usage on CAPS. It most likely they use it to make an argument for the sake of arguing. :D

The only thing you are guilty of, my friend, is bringing up a six month old thread. (Or, perhaps, bowing to pressure.) Some day the critics' vision will be failing and they will wish like (*% that everyone used CAPS.
