$80.00 is a great price for it, I paid $120.00 for mine and it is a better shooter than my Ruger Airhawk, although it is slightly longer and heavier. And yes it is an AR1000 variant, the only noticeable difference from a TF-89 being that the TF has a checkered stock.

I received the Walther today. I'm actually really impressed with the quality of the gun. The wood is very nice. I took it out back and shot it once to see how it felt and it cracked like a rifle! I couldn't believe it. I was using an 8.4 gr JSB pellet and it must of broke the sound barrier beacuse it sounded like my .22. I had to take off so I havnt gotten a chance clean the barrel or shoot it anymore but I had better take it out of the city to shoot it because it's loud!

After a few more pellets, the gun will stop sending them supersonic. Try a few 10+ gr pellets if you want to make sure.

I can't believe the power of this gun. I've shot JSB's and they're still shooting supersonic after 15-20 shots. I was shooting Crow Magnums (which are the heaviest pellet I have on hand right now) and it's sending them supersonic as well! I honestly didn't expect such high velocities out of this gun. I'm definately reconsidering giving this to my Dad. I'm gonna have to find him something else that's not so noisy and powerful.

Don't know what you have there but I just received mine today and it don't even smoke. Shoots really nice. The scope is nice enough. To be expected had to tighten every thing. Tried to zero it at 20 yards and it is doing pretty good for a new rifle. But, being reconditioned who knows how many shots have be through it.. I have a question and that is how can there be so many reconditioned air guns! It cocks easy, the trigger is nice, not a hard pull and not much kick. I will try to chrony it tomorrow. But it shoots fairly hard. It weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces with the scope but don't seem that heavy as it seems to have a pretty good balance. I hope with all these good comments it don't fall apart on me... Frank

I did the Chrony today Tuesday.

High was 1012 with RWS Super Hp  7.1 gr

Low was 870 with RWS Super Mag 9.3 gr

Average is 940

Lowest SD pellets: RWS Super HP, Gamo Match, Gamo Hunter, RWS Super Dome, Beeman Wadcutter, RWS Super Mag. All below 6.
