TF-78 - Price seems to be fair, new model, but who knows what FPS it will have when it finally arrives maybe December 2009.
ADVICE: not an option right now, not for sale. No support as yet. Get the Disco!
Disco in .177 - $155 was a special deal by an online retailer. I don't think you'll see it again anytime soon, so expect $260-290
ADVICE:well worth the moneyto get into PCP.It is much louder than I expected. One of the few things that no one exagerated about.
Expect to payanother $50 to quiet it down if you shoot in a residential area. Very accurate, easy power and trigger mods.
Ready to go action as is...plenty of online support and knowledge. Get the Disco!
RWS 850 - Refurbs from factory when availableat $140, regular $225, Super accurate (I have .177), longer (Plastic) stock for more comfortable
shouldering,10 shotrepeater, original AirSouce can CO2 60 shots ($7), with Paint Ball adapter/tank ($55) - 400 shots CO2 per fill ($5),
easily modified for power and trigger pull, plenty of online supportand knowledge, limited to spring/summer temperaturesunless you
convertto HPA at about $175, and still have toquiet it down for residentialuse...although in stock form it is half as loud as the Disco.
ADVICE: You will have a blast with this one butwillget frustratedduring the cold weatherwhen the pellet drops at your feet

youWILLconvert to HPA. At that point, you have a full size HPA.In HPA form you're at $400.
Inany case, you have to to fill the air chamber...either pump (<$200) orScuba tankand adapters (>$200) for Disco and TF-78
when it comes out.For the RWS 850 itswarm weatherCO2 which is your cheapestoption orHPA - Scuba tankand adapters.
Get the Disco!
As with all my advice...your mileage will vary depending on your shooting habits...
