Or Michigan.  I didn't renew my membership because it was so heartbreaking to see all the AG stuff I can't get!

This deal is killing me.....   I just found a $10 off coupon and I'm trying to be  good and not order another air rifle............ but for that price I'm having a hard time not hitting the "order" button.....

Arrghh,,,, I hate it when this happens  :(

I don't know about you, but I chalked it up to getting another base rifle for my first do-it-myself customization. I mean, if this is really the same as a Hammerli Hunter 1000 ($220 euro), TF89 ($134), or other AR1000 variants, it is at the very least a backup. And it is like half-price.

I thought , what the heck! Mine has been ordered.
Seems not too bad a price and Sportsman's guide has 100% guarantee, in case the "refurb" is bad.

I am already looking to convert this into a .22. If it is an AR1000 variation, I hear the only difference is the barrel and that they are not hard to swap out.

Why? I made some good excuses to myself.

Great decision guys! I purchased the Walther Force 1000 a few months back when Sportsmans Guide was selling the refurbs for $79.99. The gun is a cannon! I purchased it with intentions of giving it to my Dad as a gift, but had no idea how powerful it was. I ended up keeping it for myself because of the power. The gun likes Crow Magnums the best and after shooting ~500 pellets through it, it still breaks the sound barrier with CM's! I have taken 4 squirrels with this gun and they were all 1 shot kills. The longest was 30 yards! The gun is completely stock still, even the 4x scope that came with it is still on it. I hope you all like yours as much as I do mine. Best $79 I've spent!

I pushed the button on Friday and ordered one for $69.97. Looked at the ad this morning and they are back up to $79.97. Almost like getting free shipping..

Woodzy, I think you made a great decision! It's a great gun for tinkering and tuning, plinkering, as well as hunting medium sized game.
