Of all the rifles I've owned to date, I'd have to say my AA S200 is my favorite by far. It's certainly not the most powerful rifle I've owned, but it's so damned consistent and reliable that I can do things with this rifle I'd hesitate to do with anything else. This is the only rifle I've named, and there's a reason that name is Little Miss Never Fail. She never fails to hit what I point her at, and that never fails to put a smile on my face :-). I've taken ground hogs with this gun at 35 yards, one shot, one kill, never needed a second shot. Then I can turn it down and shoot it as a light match rifle in the winter with a diopter sight. Shooting this thing off hand really improves both my shooting and my confidence in what I can do with this rifle. Does that answer your question ;-)?
Regarding the Pneuma, I think it's a pretty good gun that got released at a really bad time. Had this been released a year earlier, I think it would have been very popular, but coming out at about the same time, and for the same price, as the Marauder has really hurt it. I also think they should have imported the wood stocked version rather than the synthetic. Finally, with the Marauder setting the price point, this is now overpriced by at least $100, maybe more. I got mine used, so I don't know if it was typical, but it was pretty rough when I got it. Needed a thorough cleaning, some polishing of this and that, and a good lube job. The trigger also needed some help. Still, no additional money out of pocket, just some time. Right now, it's shooting somewhere around 20 fpe (it's a .177), and can easily shoot 1/4" groups at 20 yards, all I have room for at the moment. If I wasn't so set on having a repeater again, I'd probably hang onto it. I have an email into Umarex to get pricing on the parts needed to make it a .22, I think only 3 or 4 fairly easily changed parts are required. This thing has enough power that I think it would be much more suitable as a .22. Guess that's about it. Later.
