Do these velocities seem funny to you?
« on: April 02, 2007, 03:59:01 AM »

.

I did this yesterday, while it was still a balmy 55 degrees.

These numbers seem too close, and are different than what I got last time, though that was with a gamo match pellet.

Any comments?

The JSB's are the worst...last time, it was the CHPs.

JSBs are usually much more consistant, I would expect them to still be better than the CPH

The velocity of the JSBH is going up... strange

Remember every batch of pellets may not be consistant with the last batch.. Also you have to consider pellet skirts as well and the shape of pellets... I think it is highly possible for to pellet tins to be marked 8.3 and you can get a different velocity out of each tin of pellets..
