Welcome Adrian, nice to have you with us.   Your Mrod will quickly let you know what pellets it likes and which ones it hates.  My .22 shoots several pellets very well but it's absolute favorite seems to be the Kodiaks, it'll stack em one on top of another all day if I do my part.  It also likes the CPHP's, FTS, Crow Mags and Predators.  Mine absolutely hates all the JSB pellets but I've been reading that a lot of the newer Mrods (mine is #25 from the first 100)  shoot the JSB's quite well.

Again, welcome and I'll be looking forward to your future posts... and don't forget, be sure to post the hunting stories and pics... we just love hunting stories and pics  :)

depends on distance and what exaclt you are going to hunt, for close ranges and for squirrels, rabbits, birds, crows ect.. ive had good luck with crow magnums and predators. as for long ranges on small game, dome or pointed pellets would prob. work good. and for medium to large game like coons, opposum, skunks, groundhogs ect. any pellet with good penetration should do the job
if at first you dont succeed, re-load, kill count 2010.

No it will not, but they can be modified to work with the Preds.   I know Greg Davis modifies the mags to work with Predators but I don't know how much he charges, you can check his website and send him an email.  Or,,,,, you can find someone else to modify them, I just don't know of anyone else who's doing it.

first do your pellet grouping tests and find out what pellets your rifle likes.  Once you have a couple of pellets to choose from you can pick the pellet that you feel will serve you better when hunting.  Predators are excellent hunting pellets if your gun likes em, but you'd have to get the magazines modified in order to use them unless you want to use the single shot tray that's available, I have one and it works well.  Hollow points  such as Crow Mags or my favorite hollow point which is the the RWS Super Hollow Point are good, especially for closer  ranges.  You can never go wrong with a good domed pellet, like the CPL's or CPHP's (yes I know the cphp's are technically a hollow point, but I regard them as a domed pellet as that little dimple on them doesn't really expand).   As for pointed pellets,,,, I've never been fond of them in my hunting rifles.  While I do have a couple of rifles that will shoot them well the majority of my rifles hate them and give poor accuracy.

See what your rifle likes first then make your choice.
