OK, don't answer that,....at least not yet. Here's my story. While doteing overmy next new rifle on the PyramydAir web site, I made a somewhat strange observation on the Beemans andWeihrauchs they offer. So,....stick with me on this and see if you know what the heck is going on with these numbers.
Under theWeihrauch section they offer the "Weihrauch HW-80" in .177 cal rated at 968 fps.
Under the Beeman section they offer the standard R1 with iron sights in .177 cal rated at 1000 fps,.....with me sofar?

??
Then the Beeman R1 without sights are given with .177 at 1000 fps, .20 at 860 fps, .22 at 765 fps and a lefty .22 the same fps, but $100 more,.....which I think is total BS and prejudiced towardsthe 'south paw' persuation!!!! My little rant,..but anyways,....
The Beeman R1 carbine is offered in .20 caland rated at 860 fps. So these numbers are for the most part pretty consistant.
But Wait!! Allow me to toss the proverbial wrench into the cogs,....Under the Beeman section, the rifles listed as the "Beeman HW-80" are offered in .20 cal rated at 735 fps, while the .22is rated at 804 fps. Am I the only person to notice this "rise and fall" of fps's. Kind of an odd indiscrepancywouldn't you agree?
So back to my original question. Am I stupid or what?!?!?!?!?Can anyone explain this strange phenomenom to me or anyone else that may have caught this?!? LOL's
