Ya Bill is on the money for sure. And the accuracy is very important. I have tuned allot of the RWS 48,52 and 54's and let me reassure you that you have a well made gun.
Another point I would like to make is many new air gunners can be a bit impatient with break in time. Some guns take longer and some less to wear in to peak performance. Patients is a virtue when it come to breaking in a new shooter...
