Second North Texas Shootout
« on: June 18, 2007, 04:51:30 AM »
This is already on the calendar at the top of the forum, but I felt it was good to repost it here on the new forum.

This will be a fun event, I have talked with Steve Corcoran a little about the "steak" competition, and he has some great ideas.

Well, you can relax a little....hehe.  I wont be able to attend this shootout, family visiting from California Fri, Sat, Sun.  So there's at least one less shooter to contend with.

We'll hook up next month though, or maybe somewhere between then and now.  I'm "dual qualified" in the PCP department now though, I have choices:)  I'm still better with the BSA here in the yard than I am with the B50 though,....but that TalonSS is a one holer!

Hmmm I am thinking next one is out at Joel's parents place at least thats the last I heard... prolly will have to leave the QB home for that one unless I can get out there at 7 in the morning lol.

Yea, Joel said his parents would "host".  He has been trying to drag me out to his parents ranch since I've known him, so it's about time I go.  I hear it's real beautiful out there, like shooting at Steve's where you just have trees and sky, and stuff to SHOOT!

Stuff? I like stuff... in fact I am thinking about gettin some diet soda's to bring to the shoot out saturday and see if Steve will do a test with his S410, man I sure do like that gun. I guess I will be talking to him about his S200 to and taking a long look at the magazine setup on that gun to see if I can get any encouraging ideas about arepeater breech for the QB's. I been emailing back and forth with Mr. Mellick and he is sorting out some used and abused parts for me to mess around with for that idea. So my project bin is filling nicely hehe I will have work to do till next summer hehehehe.
