Hey, to all you seasoned GAMO veterans. I usually troll about through the Chinese and Crosman forums, though I look in here now and then.
I've only ever bought one product from GAMO, and it was a pretty bad experience, so I'm looking for some moral support, I guess. My "lemon" was a PT-80 CO2 pistol, which never fired a single pellet. Every time you pull the trigger, you hear a dull pop. Opened up the receiver and pulled out the full magazine every time.
The pellets would have a little crescent-moon stamped on their fronts from the edge of the barrel, so obviously not aligning properly.
Is this typical? I never sent it back (to Pyramyd Air) because I figured the shipping and the time and the hassle weren't worth it.
Everyone here seems to really like their GAMO rifles...but I have been afraid to jump into another GAMO purchase after the P-80 (once bitten, twice shy?).
So...encouraging words?
Thanks -JC
