AIr Arms S-410 .22 Classic SL Fac arrived today...:) Updated

The brown santa delivered me another Air Arms Sweety today...:) It was late and took it out to the shop and opened the box and WOW!.. This one has more of a staight walnut grain with allot of definition. Not allot of swirls as straight grain. To my suprise, it felt as light as my AA 410 .177 Carbine, but had a larger barrel shroud. I just grabbed a white clean towel and quickly whiped her down and took some pics. Tonight I will clean her up and mount a new scope. I see in the pictures that she is still kinda smuggy with oil but I will have some better pics once I mount the scope and is all cleaned up. Guess you know what I will be doing all day tomorrow..:) Gonna need to get my tank filled after that..:)

I think you'd better box that filthy rifle up and ship it to me straight away Gene, so I can get properly cleaned up for you. We can't have you soiling your delicate hands with menial cleaning chores.  :)

Well Steph, I know you would love shooting her..:) It does amaze me how light they are. Even with a 22oz scope they are less than 8lbs.

Now you're talking . That's a sweet looking shooter for sure Gene. I like th strait grainers . They have a Classic Walnut look to them . I hope you're stocked up on .22 cal. pellets. Which scope did you decide to put on her ? kirby

I like the shot from behind. I am kind of a butt guy though. She sure is pretty. I bet you will be stacking pellets from 60 yards with that gem.

:), Well yo almost got it right..:) Had to finish up on a couple muzzle brakes first. I only had a 2 hour window cause I have to leave for Columbia this afternoo. I just come in from shooting her and I am as pleased as toast..:) Only a hundred or so pelletswent through her but I got the feel of the power cycle. She sure can push out the lead on high power..:) I also took some pic's of her all cleaned up with a Simmons White Tail scope. Also I moded the BKL Cantalever mount inorder for it to fit over the rotary clip. Here are couple pics but have a bunch more I am gonna put on another post..:)

LOL Jeff, I am sorry but you will have to take a number...:) You need to come on down south here and for this summer's fun shoot.. You were close last year but momma won out on your time..:) Ask her if you can just have one day with the guys.. hehe And you can shoot everything I own.. :)

Wow that's another beauty you have there Gene, these AA walnut stocks really make me wish I had one : )

BTW how's the cocking force on the side lever compared to the bolt action, is it much easier?  I think I'd probably like the side lever more but I'm happy with my bolt action for now.  I understand AA uses a ball bearing bushing to make the lever action smooth.

I bet you are loving yours to pieces right now.  I know I'm loving my 410ERBSL.  

Out of all the guns I've had the 410 is the one I think I've settled on, accuracy and beauty all in one package.

It's the one gun that has all the options, mulit-shot, very quiet shroud, sidelever, adjustable power, air guage, and a pretty sweet adjustable trigger.  I cant think of one PCP that has all the same options in one package like this.

IMO it's the only rifle worth it's asking price.

Thanks Jon, Is your barrel longer than mine? I know that the shroud on this Classic S-410 .22 Fac is about 3 inches longer than the barrel. I stuck my nose down there today..:) Also the end of shroud unscrews and I guess it is for removal of shroud.. For sure Jon these Air Arms PCP's are very very sweet shooters. Will make a blind man see again.. hehe
