My .22 Tony tuned Talon, loves kodiaks. She shoots jsb exacts at 900fps and likes them too. The Eun Jins are fun to shoot because they really smack the target, but at 30 yards I was getting inch and a half groups. With the Kodiaks I was getting half inch groups. I did try the EJ right after I had filled the gun. Maybe I should try them after the air has settled down some. If the weather is good Saturday I might get the silent trap out and fling some lead at it.

As you saw in the hunting forum, the 35gr. pointed eun jins are very effective...

Almost the same thing with my Condor, Dan. Shoots Kodiaks very well but not so good with Eun Jins.

You will love that gun! I've had mine for three years. Had a tune up with Talontunes because I had worn mine out. The most accurate air gun I have ever shot. Good luck with it.

Hi, just a question. Does anyone use the condor .22 on highest power setting? You would be able to make much farther kills and take down bigger game that way right. If you dont have to worry about wasting air or being loud, shouldnt you use full power?

My Condor is tuned by Tony from Talon Tunes and he machined a new hammer for mine so it is little bit heavier then stock from the factory. I asked him to do it cuz Iam planning to get .25 cal barrel soon. So, I think you can shoot on full power but I think in my case Beeman Kodiaks will go supersonic and the accuracy will greatly suffer. I can imagine they will go supersonic even in stock Condor on full power. And of course it will eat air like crazy. Anyway what is the point of the power if accuracy sucks.

Yes, on about PW 10 or 11 you get max power, at least for me.  Anything above this just wastes air.  However, if you use a heavy 28gr. eun jin or if you have a .25 caliber condor you can get much better long range power.  You do want to keep the velocity of the bullet under 1000fps if possible so thats why most people don't shoot on max power.  Mine will shoot 21gr. kodiaks over 1100fps on full power.

Well, no, Il use Kodiaks because then I can shoot around 900 fps and have more shots than i would if I was using Enu Jins.

Zelda unless yours is different from most others, the Kodiaks will group better too.

Alright, Il be getting a .22 condor pretty soon. What is the max range that the condor can get good groups at with kodiaks? What power setting?

My .22 Condor is sighted in for the Kodiaks and it's giving me ragged hole groups at 40 yards which is as far as I can sight it in in my yard.   I have the rifle set at lower than full power in order to keep the Kodiaks from going supersonic.  When I had the rifle set at  close to full power each shot would go supersonic so I backed it on down.  The rifle has been whacking squirrels with ease out to 40 yards and they've all been 1 shot kills, even the body shots.  The rifle is one amazing small game rifle.  I really bought it for the woodchuck hunting I do in the summer but it in the meantime I'll keep whacking the squirrels with it......
